This book, I don't even know what to say. Melina Marchetta is a goddess who can effortlessly break my heart and then put it back together better than it was before.The beginning is a little confusing and a bit slow (you're thrown directly into the politics of the various groups warring for territory and it takes a little bit for everything to make sense) but once it picks up, oh my. I laughed, I cried, I squealed and then cried a little bit more. Read this book.
